First-ever national estimates regarding e-cigarette usage in the United States have been released. The CDC data stems from 2014 numbers, and Tobacco Truth reports that smoking is on the decline, while women are rapidly catching up to men in e-cigarette usage.
Men’s smoking numbers declined from 2013 to 2014 from 20.5 to 18.8 percent, with 4.2 percent turning to vaping. Women came in at 3.4 percent vaping in 2014.
